I grew up on a Deer farm in Oxford, North Canterbury, New Zealand. 

Our family farm had been supplying Deer Velvet into Asia for many years.

When I sustained a serious rugby injury I was told it would take 3 months post-surgery to get back playing again.

Keen to get back on the field I started taking Deer Velvet.

Within 6 weeks I was back playing rugby with the Canterbury Crusaders.
